We are looking for an experienced and motivated Restaurant Manager to lead our team and ensure the smooth operation of our restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the food and beverage industry, excellent leadership abilities, and a passion for providing outstanding customer service. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards in all aspects of restaurant management, including staff training, financial oversight, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and food quality standards.
- Monitor inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed to maintain seamless service.
- Implement and refine operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency.
- Recruit, hire, and train new staff, ensuring all employees understand their roles and responsibilities.
- Conduct regular team meetings to motivate staff and communicate updates or changes.
- Foster a positive team culture, promoting teamwork and open communication.
- Ensure a welcoming and pleasant dining experience for all guests.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and a problem-solving attitude.
- Gather and analyze customer feedback to continuously improve service quality.
- Develop and manage budgets; track financial performance against targets.
- Manage labor and food costs while maintaining quality standards.
- Collaborate with chefs and kitchen staff to develop and update the menu, considering seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
- Ensure that food presentation and quality consistently meet restaurant standards.
- Conduct regular taste tests and food quality assessments.
- Design and implement marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
- Manage the restaurant’s online presence, including social media and website updates.
- Organize events, promotions, and special offers to enhance customer engagement.
- Ensure the restaurant complies with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding health and safety, food handling, and employment.
- Conduct regular inspections of the restaurant to ensure cleanliness and adherence to standards.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar role (3-5 years preferred).
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Proficient in restaurant management software, POS systems, and Microsoft Office and Excel.
- Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets and financial reports.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
