Market Place Merchandiser/Buyer

Responsibilities:

  • To plan and undertaking sales and stock analysis for the business (market place)
  • Assist/advise internal stakeholders (Distribution Brand team) in range planning, ordering quantities and forecasting, purchasing, intake and stock of ranges in order to maximize sales and profit for the business (market place)
  • Regular review on range on platforms and monitor their sales trend, review opportunities to expand range and enter new categories
  • Managing markdown to achieve certain margin % and sales value
  • Promotional Calendar (action plan per week)
  • Budget planning 

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of working experience in retail industry, marketplaces or from a merchandising background and has strong analytical and numerical skills along with exceptional planning skills
  • Must have a key eye for product opportunities
  • Computer Literate (MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Word)
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel skill and ability to manage large volume of data, to crunch numbers and spot trends and opportunities in sales
