Brand Manager – Kids Fashion Brand Manager Kids is a senior role for leading Kanmo groups largest kids fashion brand with pan Indonesia presence, own website and is present on leading marketplaces.
Business & Brand strategy
Define and own the overall Business strategy for Kids fashion omnichannel business – to achieve the planned growths aspirations across channels
Cascade the Business strategy into specific functional strategies across Buying, Merchandising, Marketing, Store, ecommerce, market place, Product Tech among others.
Work closely with the SVP to prepare Long Term plans for the business so as to deliver on Growth and Profitability targets
Ensure that desired Brand positioning is reinforced by aligning identity with marketing communication, product strategy, store properties etc.
Ensure appropriate controls in place for buying, inventory, working capital utilization and New Stores Capital Expenditure
Implement a strong system for MIS, Accounting and Compliance for ensuring Operational Excellence
Own end to end P&L responsibility for kids fashion brand– including Topline, Gross margin, Marketing and other overhead costs across all channels
Work closely with Finance team to drive annual business planning and budgeting exercise including timelines and frequency through appropriate frameworks and guidelines.
Ensure working capital is maintained under planned levels – by ensuring appropriate inventory
Show strong commercial prudence in day to day business decisions Organization building
Continue to strengthen organization by hiring proactively for necessary skills and bandwidth to support achievement of the planned Growth targets
Engage deeply with direct reports and provide constructive feedback – to groom talent in-house
Work closely with SVP and Group HR for periodic talent profiling/mapping conversations
Work collaboratively with other support departments to deliver key sales, projects and new initiatives Commercial & Operations
Define the product strategy and drive execution with Buying team to ensure that intake margin targets are achieved – while not being inconsistent with overall brand promise
Work closely with Merchandising team to ensure the markdown targets, trade margin and stock holding levels are within planned levels
Actively problem solve and engage with Growth team (Marketing and store) to drive Revenue performance across different channels - influencers, paid social, affiliates, CRM etc
Work closely with CRM team to ensure activation and retention goals are realized – by shaping and executing different campaigns Governance & Control
Ensure statutory compliances of all systems, processes & accounting practices & compliance with international corporate governance requirement.
Establishing sound internal control procedures People Management
Provide Leadership and Coaching to the direct team and their reports to drive enhanced performance, professional and personal development.
Manage the performance of the team – set annual performance goals, monitor performance and provide constructive feedback to improve performance. Enhance team productivity through skills development through coaching and training.
Ideal candidate more or less 4 years of omnichannel retail experience with minimum 3 years in managerial position.
Preference from fashion and kids retail background
Prior experience in P&L management, Merchandising and Planning, Retail operations
Ecommerce and digital understanding in B2C environment
Possesses analytical skills along with strategic mindset
Process oriented with strong understanding of Ms. Office , ERP tools, systems
Excellent communication with great interpersonal skills which would help candidate deliver on growth prospects working closely with stakeholders in a matrix organization
